PAST AND PRESENT is a venture that operates on two fronts and spans over various mediums. The first, a digital storefront offering a curated selection of luxury, streetwear, and vintage clothing, sneakers and more. The second, an ethically made in-house label focusing on timeless designs and quality.
I have always been surrounded by fashion, art and music. My grandmother was an antique dealer and my mom in fashion. At a young age, I would tag along to resale/consignment shops and estate sales. From there, I realized it was possible to build a great wardrobe buying second-hand.
In my early teens, my passion for sneakers led me to become immersed in streetwear and high-end fashion culture. From camping out at the local mall for the newest sneaker release or going to conventions to buy, sell and trade. Fashion courses followed at the Fashion Institute of Technology and an internship under menswear designer, Todd Shelton.
The concept and vision I had for this project started in my senior year of college, where I studied business and finance. I set out to create a curated e-commerce platform offering not only unique and authentic products, but an experience where there is a sense of community and a go to place for evolving collections.
